131042 - Business eligibility payment issue error reported directly by the WhatsApp API.
👉 It does not mean that:
- There is an error in your flow, template, or configuration within Treble
- The number or contact is blocked
- There is a problem with your Treble account or your billing with us
💳 Why can this happen?
Before delivering a template, Meta validates that the Business Manager that owns the WABA has a valid, active payment method in good standing. This error appears when that validation fails, for example because:- The card or payment method linked to the Business Manager was declined, expired, or was removed
- There is an outstanding invoice with Meta
- The WABA has no payment method configured
- The spending limit configured in the Business Manager was reached
🧾 Does it affect only one message or the whole mass deployment?
While the payment method issue remains unresolved, Meta can keep rejecting every send attempt, so this error can appear on several or most of the messages in the same mass deployment. It is normal to see some messages delivered successfully alongside others with this error.🚨 What should I do if I see this error?
Do not try to resolve it directly with Meta on your own. Contact our support team first through the chat inside the platform, letting us know which deployment or conversation shows the error. Our team will:- Review the WABA status and the payment validation with Meta
- Determine whether the issue can be resolved internally or whether it requires you to update or verify the payment method in Meta’s Business Manager
- Give you clear guidance on the next step, including how to update the payment method or resolve the outstanding billing if needed
